When testing a program, don't test it to see if it works; test it to see if you can break it! You want to have it break for you before you put it into production and it breaks on your client!
My first computer experience was in high school using a teletype with Basic on a PDP-11 Machine. I followed that with using a IBM 360 mainframe with 64K of memory. I wrote segmentational overlays in Assembler Language. Those were my dinosaur days! Right now, I'm all about Visual Basic .NET. I teach classes in .NET, as well as, Cisco CCNA classes.
