I haven't been keeping this blog up -- as you can probably tell. I have moved most of my things to Perceptive Petal.

Second Life Proposal
Well, I thought about Second Life some more, and saw the educational possibilities. So, I put in and IDEAS proposal at our college to get a litle seed money to buy an island and put a classroom, campus, district into Second Life. There are some upcoming conferences that I hope will help, and a lot of educators with the Sloodle project that will, too. The conferences are "in world" on May 25th and F2F in Chicago the end of August. I hope to keep up with my rather aggressive timeline for development. More later...

Second Life -- Educational Possibilites
I stumbled upon a group Sloodle - who are connecting the content management system Moodle with Second Life. I joined up and attended one of their "in world" tours. "In world" is such a cute name for being "in" the Second Life virtual world.

First attempt at an Audio Blog

This is the first attempt at audio blogging through www.audioblogger.com. Simply had to call the number supplied, record, and then edit the blog information. My next task is to see if there is a way to "subscribe" to this. A big advantage to this is that you don't really have to worry about uploading. The audio quality is not perfect, but not that bad either! I wonder if others could make audio comments -- I am guessing "not!" by the way I had to connect my blog with my audioblog account, but that would be something really neat in the future.
